The Schedule

Sapporo, capital of the northern island of Hokkaido, will become the airline’s 100th destination. Qantas Business Class passengers will be able to fly the route just in time for peak ski season at the end of the year.

Services will operate three times per week from 15 December 2025 to 28 March 2026- subject to government and regulatory approval. Qantas Business Class guests will be flying onboard the Airbus A330-200 aircraft and offer more than 20,000 seats on the route across the northern ski season.

The flight will depart Sydney at 09.05 and arrive in Sapporo’s New Chitose Airport early evening by 17:55. This nonstop route will save snow-goers and Qantas Business Class passengers several hours compared to the previous routes. This new service marks Qantas’ fourth route to Japan, complementing double daily flights ex. Sydney to Tokyo Haneda, plus daily flights from Melbourne and Brisbane to Tokyo Narita.
