Cathay Pacific recently announced their plans to elevate the travel experience for their premium passengers. This includes an array of enhancements across both cabins with the soft products and culinary offerings both being updated. These changes are designed to offer passengers a more holistic, sensory experience that begins from the moment they step onboard.
Cathay Pacific has collaborated with UK lifestyle brand Bamford, who is renowned for its ethical and sustainable principles. Together with Bamford, Cathay Pacific will give their passengers a more premium service with an exclusive range of amenities, travel kits and plush bedding.
First Class passengers can now enjoy a new bespoke experience centred around inspiring flavours, claiming fragrances and refined textures. Exquisite bedding and amenities along with wellness options and tableware have all been updated to enhance the travel experience. Passengers in First Class will be able to relax on a 600-thread-count, 100 per cent sustainably sourced cotton mattress and duvet, and a soft full-sized pillow. Bamford male and female amenity kits will be provided to passengers containing natural skincare products.
Business Class passengers will now enjoy a more comfortable while onboard with newly introduced bedding, slippers and amenities ensuring they arrive at their destinations feeling refreshed. The new bedding which includes a mattress topper, 400-thread-count pillowcase, and luxury duvet, all of which has been made using 100 per cent sustainably sourced cotton.
The new Business Class amenity kits will be progressively introduced from the first of December. The unisex kits will be available in four colours and be rotated throughout the year.
Cathay Pacific has partnered with JING Tea to create a wellness menu for First Class passengers. Passengers will experience this as soon as they enter the cabin with a welcome tray at their seat containing a personalised note, hot towel, and a glass of refreshing sparkling jasmine silver needle tea. This wellness extends to the menus which will feature new recipes and lighter options for main and breakfast meals, including healthy alternatives, superfood bowls and lighter protein side dishes. Teas and cold-pressed juices that feature metabolism-stimulating ingredients will be offered to passengers before breakfast as a refreshing wake up.
