Cathay Pacific is moving to Terminal 8 at New York’s JFK airport. Currently operated out of Terminal 7, the last Cathay flight from this terminal will be CX845 on January 15th, due to depart at 00:45 on Sunday morning, following that flight the airline will call Terminal 8 home.
The move will improve connectivity with Cathay’s oneworld partner airline American Airlines who have major operations in Terminal 8, providing a more seamless transfer experience for passengers.
Terminal 8 is the largest of JFK’s terminals and passengers will have access to many dining, shopping and entertainment facilities.
Business Class passengers, and eligible Marco Polo members will also have access to American Airlines Admirals Club along with the Flagship Lounge which is due to reopen following extensive renovations in April. Once completed the Flagship lounge will be the most impressive in the airline’s network featuring more space, updated interiors and Flagship Dining - a multi-course dining experience with fresh, regional food prepared by an Executive Chef.
