Fiji Airways has announced they are launching flights to Dallas Fort Worth, starting from December 2024! The increase of flights comes just in time for those jetting off over Christmas, perfect for those looking to snap up a good Business Class deal.
The airline departs from a considerable number of Australian cities and towns all the way to its hub at Nadi International Airport. Fiji Airways departs to several destinations in North America; Honolulu, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vancouver, and now adding Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) to the map. DFW is the headquarters and mega-hub of American Airlines, whose AAdvantage rewards program has recently been adopted by Fiji Airways.
This is after the airline’s recent announcement of joining the Oneworld alliance in full member-capacity in 2025. The 13-hour trek from Nadi to Dallas Fort Worth will run three times a week- On Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday- beginning December 10, 2024.
The Nadi to Dallas Fort Worth flight will be enjoyed on the modern, comfortable Airbus A350- featuring 33 lie-flat Business Class beds and 301 seats in Economy Class. The intimate Business Class seating is in a 1-2-1 configuration (all aisle access), with a 26” seat width and 60” seat pitch.
As a passenger, you will have three different seating positions available; TTL Present Position- an upright seated position, Lounge Present Position- more of a relaxed/almost flat seat, and a Bed Present Position- a lie-flat sleeping position. Enjoy a range of in-flight entertainment with a 17” in-seat video monitor, complete with AC power and USB ports.
Onboard, Fiji Airways offers Business Class passengers a welcome drink of either OJ or a Cattier Brut Icone Champagne. Guests will have a range of choice for meals onboard the flight (both of traditional Fijian cuisine and Western), as well as snacks and drinks provided throughout the journey.
Fiji Airways CEO Andre Viljoen described the route as “a really exciting milestone for Fiji Airways, as we continue to increase Fiji’s connectivity with the United States and beyond, offering our guests more travel options.” Fiji itself is an increasingly popular stopover destination, therefore providing two holidays in one! It’s an ideal way to end your business trip with some well-deserved downtime.
“The Fiji-Dallas service will make it easier than ever for North Americans and AAdvantage members to holiday in the South Pacific, adding more than 1,000 seats a week from North America to the pristine shores of Fiji.”
