Looking to maximise your Qantas Status Credits and Frequent Flyer points? Why not fly with Finnair - a popular choice for travellers wanting to accrue status benefits at an incredible price point.

Oneworld member, Finnair, has announced that it will be adding flights to its most popular destinations in the United States as well as additional services to Asia. These include Chicago, Dallas, Seattle and Los Angeles in the USA, Nagoya and Osaka in Japan and Shanghai in China.

How to Maximise Status Credits and Points with the New Finnair Schedules

Finnair will fly daily to Chicago next summer, and to Dallas up to 11 times per week. This is five times more than the 2024 summer service to Dallas. In addition, both Seattle and Los Angeles will get two more weekly frequencies.

This will allow for more travel options for flyers at a better price, meaning more opportunity to maximise Qantas Status Credits and Frequent Flyer points. We currently have a Finnair Business Class deal available that allows you to fly to more places for more status credits.

For example, gain 480 credits by travelling Sydney to Helsinki return (with stopovers in Bangkok) from $6,392 on the Finnair Business Class deal. Essentially, the more destinations you add, the more status credits you will gain! Talk to an airfare specialist about it today.

In addition to the United States, Finnair will add capacity to Japan and China. In summer 2025, Finnair will fly daily to Osaka, opening up a greater opportunity to visit one of the most up and coming destinations. Nagoya, which Finnair reopened last year, also gets an additional flight per week- increasing to four weekly flights. The airline will also add one weekly flight to Shanghai in China, now flying four times per week during the summer period.

If you are interested in adding Japan as a stopover on your next trip, this Finnair Business Class deal will allow you to accrue Status Credits and Frequent Flyer points for an additional premium. This capacity increase will allow more availability and more seats at better prices. Please discuss further with an airfare specialist for more details.

From Finnair Themselves

Finnair Chief Revenue Officer, Christine Rovelli, has commented on the capacity increases to the USA and Asia.

“Increasing our capacity to the United States brings our customers excellent connectivity to North America and beyond. Customers can connect via Dallas and Chicago to our partner American Airlines’ extensive network in North and South America, while Seattle and Los Angeles offer a gateway to for example other parts of the West Coast and Hawaii, through our partners American Airlines and Alaska Airlines”, says Rovelli.
