Emirates has unveiled a more spacious business class seat onboard their refurbished 777 aircraft.
Emirates is currently refurbishing their entire fleet of 10 777-200LR aircraft with the first starting service to Fort Lauderdale this week.
The new business class cabins have a 2-2-2 configuration, a first for the airline, with 38 fully flat business class seats.
The seats are the same design and shape of Emirates’ most recent business class seat announced in November, with the champagne coloured leather upholstery, however this edition is 2 inches wider.
Each business class seat includes a personal mini bar, 23 inch inflight entertainment system with touch screen controls, fully adjustable lie flat bed, privacy panels, and personal lighting options.
The new Emirates 777-200LR fleet also includes a mini lounge social area. The mini lounge includes snacks and beverages that business class passengers are welcome to help themselves to throughout the flight.
The remaining 777-200LR fleet is expected to be updated with the new configuration over the course of the year.
