Japan Airlines has announced changes to upgrade to their business class Amenity Kits from the end of August. The new amenity kits which have been designed by French brand Maison Kitsune (the first airline collaboration for the brand) and Japanese brand Beams will differ on flights arriving and departing from Japan.
Maison Kitsune was founded in 2002 in Paris, the word kitsune is derived from a Japanese word for fox. In Japanese culture, it is said that foxes have the ability to shapeshift into various forms, stay true to its name the Maison Kitsune brand is known for its fusion of modern and culture, Beams is a pioneering Japanese lifestyle brand which creates timeless menswear.
Flights arriving in Japan will carry the Beams amenity kits, the unique design features popular clothing materials with new designs being introduced every three months. While flights departing from Japan will carry the Maison Kitsune amenity kits, both kits will contain a range of inflight essentials including toothbrush, earplugs, eye mask, tissues, moisturising sheet face mask and a Maison Kitsune Lip Balm.
The new amenity kits will be available on JAL flights out of Tokyo, and Osaka to Australia, North America, and Europe from the end of August 2019.
