The Qantas International Business Lounge at Sydney Airport is getting a makeover!

The lounge will undergo a complete rebuild and new design with at least 30% more seating and a new signature dining experience.

The flagship Sydney International Business Lounge will introduce a new Neil Perry dining experience and an interior look and feel inspired by Sydney.

The new lounge will be designed by David Caon who also designed the Qantas business lounges in Singapore and Hong Kong, and the new chairman’s lounge in Brisbane.

The Sydney business lounge is the most visited lounge in the Qantas international network so well deserving of the new design and additional capacity.

New features in the lounge include:

• Neil Perry designed dining concept
• Full-service bar
• Generous business facilities and high speed Wi-Fi
• Dedicated family zone
• Service experience by Sofitel
• Luxury bathroom facilities

Construction will start toward the end of this year, with completion expected by the end of 2019. The work will be completed in stages to allow ongoing use of the lounge during the redevelopment.
