Qantas have released great fares in Premium Economy and Business Class today, to both Hong Kong and Japan. These are companion fares, valid when two or more passengers travel together on the same itinerary.
Return fares in Premium Economy start from $1459 inc taxes to Hong Kong and $1886 inc taxes to Tokyo, and you’ll be travelling on a Boeing 747 with 38-inch seat pitch configured in a 2-4-2 design across the cabin. You’ll have a ten inch personal entertainment screen and be provided with noise-cancelling headphones. Passengers will be able to use the dedicated check-in desk at the airport and have priority access to a dedicated boarding lane, then on arrival have priority disembarkation.
Return fares in Business Class start from $3501 inc taxes to Hong Kong and $3633 inc taxes to Tokyo. On these routes Qantas runs the Airbus A330 and unfortunately these are all still fitted with the older version of Qantas’ Skybed. These seats are ‘lie-flat’ rather than ‘fully-flat’ and passengers sleep at a distinct slope to the cabin floor. If you’re travelling to Hong Kong however, you can take the B747 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and this is a better choice. These aircraft have the newer Skybed, ‘fully-flat’ with eighty inches of seat pitch. Our consultants can help with booking you on to the correct flights to take advantage of this.
These special fares are valid for travel from early July to mid-September 2016, you’ll need to move fast as they’re only on sale until 10 July, unless sold out prior.
