British Airways have added Winston Churchill’s favourite port to their business class wine list a they lead up to the release of their new Club World dining concept.
The historic port, Graham’s Six Grapes, has a rich bouquet that has been selected for it’s ability to hold up at altitude and also to match with this month’s desserts and cheese boards.
Churchill famously served the Port to his guests at his country home and enjoyed the tipple himself. It is expected BA’s premier passengers will too - the airline goes through 41,000 bottles of Port in the their business class cabins each year.
The new dining concept, which will include display trolleys with freshly prepared meals for passengers to choose from, served on beautiful new table settings, is expected to be launched in the northern hemisphere Autumn.
BA recently announced a new partnership with The White Company providing luxury inflight linens and amenity kits, which together with the new dining concept forms a part of the airline’s multi-million pound investment in providing a better experience for passengers - particularly those travelling in business and first class.
Stay tuned for more as the details of the changes are rolled out over the coming months.
