The winners of the 2019 Skytrax Worlds Best Airline Awards have been announced with Qatar Airways taking out both the highly coveted Worlds Best Airline and The Worlds Best Business Class.
It is the fourth year in a row that the airline has held on to the Best Business Class title, and the fifth time it has been crowned the Worlds Best Airline.
Known as the Oscar's of the aviation industry, over 20 million people vote in the Skytrax awards annually.
This year Cathay Pacific took out 4th place in the list of the worlds best airlines and, after missing out for the last 2 years, Qantas made an appearance in the top 10 coming in at number 8
Worlds Best Business Class
Qatar Airways won the 2019 Worlds Best Business Class for their revolutionary QSuite. Launched in 2018 the QSuite features a design with multiple configurations including the option to create a 4 person private suite, a double bed in the sky, and a fully enclosed suite for one.
The Qsuite is available to more than 30 destinations worldwide and out of Australia to Doha from Sydney/Canberra and Adelaide (from July 2019).
Qantas and Cathay also made the Worlds Best Business Class Top Ten coming in at fifth and ninth respectively.
