Qantas has announced a series of lounge upgrades across their global network, including a significant refresh of their Flagship Sydney International First Lounge which will also be expanded by 15 percent.
The airline’s Brisbane International Lounge will also be expanded, with room for an additional 100 people, which is expected to be completed in early 2019, and their lounges in Hobart and Tamworth will also get a makeover with a complete new look and more space and seating.
Internationally, the first and business class Auckland lounges will be redesigned into a single lounge, similar to the format of the airline’s lounges in London and Hong Kong, with regional inspiration incorporated into the decor and the Tokyo Narita Lounge will be refreshed with a new design and more dining options added.
These updates are in addition to the works which are currently underway in Melbourne and Sydney, including a new Sydney International Business Lounge with 35 percent more seating.
